Foundry (1855)
The interior (right side) of the block bounded by Sequassen Street, Van Dyke, and Huyshope Avenues. The entire interior is open and unobstructed. Originally, equipped with a cupola furnace for melting iron, it was later used for polishing operations and sheet-metal work. Like the Forge, the building was used mainly for storage after World War II. This building will also be turned over to the National Park Service.
