The Church of the Good Shepherd (La Iglesia de el Buen Pastor) (1869)

155 Wyllys Street

The Church of the Good Shepherd (La Iglesia de el Buen Pastor) was built by Elizabeth Colt in memory of Sam and their three children who died in infancy. Consecrated in 1869, it was designed by Edward Tuckerman Potter. Notable are the carved stone gun parts adorning the Armorers’ Porch south facing entrance.

Good Shepherd is an active Episcopal church with two services (English and Spanish) each Sunday. Learn more here.
